Newest Mystery Underway!

The newest Jake Fisher mystery is underway–and as of this post, the first draft is about half-completed: “Blood on the Bars” is the fourth installment of the Jake Fisher mysteries, built from characters originating in the Cataclysm Series. In this tale, Jake’s eldest son, Vinny, has been working at a zoo in southern Pennsylvania. When animals begin missing from the zoo, Vinny calls his sleuthing dad to lend his perspective to the case. Jake joins Vinny in trying to track down the reasons for the animals’ disappearances. As they close in on a perpetrator, a dead body turns up, and things get serious quickly. As Jake delves deeper and deeper into the case, he finds a trail that leads to an international smuggling ring, and connections that he never would have dreamed of. Jake will need to call in the aid of his Green Beret son, Tommy, to help crack the case and track the bad guys all the way back to their source. It’s a family affair for Jay Vielle’s 10th novel (4th mystery). Hoping to have this one up on Amazon in time for summer beach reading season! Stay tuned!
