Jake Fisher has just successfully finished his first investigation and is starting the school year in his new position as Security Officer. A colleague, Kelly Fryer, suspects her husband of cheating and asks a reluctant Jake to gather evidence of his infidelity to use at her divorce proceedings. In the course of his investigation, Jake discovers that there is much more going on beneath the surface than either he or the wife could have guessed, and that her husband, Ken, is up to his neck in trouble with unsavory characters. Jake must take on a biker gang and an organized crime boss in the hopes of keeping himself, his client, and her husband alive long enough to complete the investigation and get away unscathed. Badger Investigations is the second of the Jake Fisher Mysteries.
